Who we are

What we collect

We collect only what you choose to send us.

• Contact form: your first and last name, email address, phone number (if you give one) and the message you write.
• Email: if you email us directly, we keep the message and your address so we can reply.
• Server logs: our hosting provider keeps standard web server logs (IP address, pages requested, browser type, time) for security and troubleshooting.

We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are viewed. Google may set cookies and receive information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. You can block this in your browser settings or with Google's opt-out browser add-on. We also use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure how visitors who come from LinkedIn respond to our ads and posts. LinkedIn may set cookies and receive information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, and it handles that information under its own privacy policy. You can opt out in your LinkedIn account settings or by blocking cookies in your browser.

How we use it

• To answer your enquiry and follow up about our services.
• To keep a record of the conversation in our customer records.
• To protect the site from spam and abuse.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who handles it for us

We share information only with service providers that help us run the business:

• Our customer relationship management (CRM) provider, which stores contact form submissions.
• Google Workspace, which delivers and stores our email.
• Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, which measure visits to this website.
• LinkedIn, whose Insight Tag measures visits that come from LinkedIn.
• Our web hosting provider.

They process the information on our behalf and only for those purposes. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep contact and customer records for as long as we have a business relationship with you or need them to answer your enquiry, and for as long as the law requires. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).

How we protect it

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), limit access to the systems that hold your information to the people who need it, and keep credentials in a managed secrets store. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email contact@jonroc.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time.

Children

Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
